Previous Nursing Standard campaigns

2008: Patient dignity

Dignity logoNursing Standard worked with the RCN to ensure that patients are treated with respect. Called 'Dignity: at the heart of everything we do', the campaign gave support and direction to the UK's nursing workforce during delivery of care for patients and clients of any health status in every setting.

2007: Nutrition Now

Nutrition Now logoThe Nutrition Now campaign helped nurses to improve nutrition and hydration in patients across the UK. Nutrition and hydration are essential to care, as vital as medication and other types of treatment. It is our responsibility as members of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients in our care have the right nutrition and hydration at the right time.

2006: Count on Nurses

Count on NursesPatients count on nurses, so it is up to managers and ministers to ensure that the numbers add up. That really is the only way to keep patients safe. But as more and more nursing posts are frozen and jobs lost, there is a danger that patient care will suffer. We armed nurses with as much information as possible so they could argue the case for the right skill mix.
