Spirit of Nursing Conference Presentations

Addressing patients' spiritual needs is recognised as an integral part of nursing care. But exactly how is that translated in the day-to-day hurly burly of health care and what are the implications for nurses?

Building on the immense success of its coverage of spiritual issues in nursing, Nursing Standard brought together experts in April 2009 to discuss how spirituality connects with patient care, and what happens to care and to nurses when spiritual care is neglected.

Below are the free links to the PowerPoint presentations shown on the day (You need Microsoft Powerpoint to view these presentations) , as well as the abstracts PDF document detailing the aims and focus of each speaker.
