Improving patient experience requires the commitment of staff at every level of an organisation. From the chief executive to volunteers, everyone has a part to play, including the patients themselves wherever possible.
Results from the Department of Health's second national cancer patient experience survey, published in August, show that while the picture across England is by no means perfect, it is certainly encouraging.
