Mentors need more support to fail poorly performing students
Mentors lack the skills and confidence to fail underperforming pre-registration students, according to a researcher who conducted interviews and held focus groups.
Maggie Bennett, practice education facilitator at the Southern Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland, presented her findings at the RCN education forum conference.
