Register
If you're not already registered on the site, you'll need to do so in order to gain unrestricted access to all our content. There are two types of registration:

Adult nursing courses are bearing the brunt of cuts to pre-registration education commissions, with 1,046 fewer places on such courses this year compared with last.
Figures obtained by Nursing Standard show that, overall, about 1,260 fewer nurses will be trained throughout the UK in the 2012/13 academic year compared with 2011/12, and about 4,500 fewer than four years ago – a drop of 16.9 per cent.
